A traffic accident that occurred overnight on State Road 131, at kilometer marker 8+600 , in the municipality of Sestu, escalated into a violent fight between the drivers of the vehicles involved, requiring the intervention of the Carabinieri. During the operation, one soldier sustained minor injuries.

According to an initial reconstruction, still being examined by investigators, the accident involved a Mercedes, driven by a 43-year-old man resident in Cagliari, and a Ford Fiesta driven by a 25-year-old from Sestu.

For reasons currently under investigation, the Mercedes rear-ended the Fiesta. Immediately after the impact, a particularly heated argument broke out between the two drivers.

The situation quickly escalated, requiring the intervention of the Carabinieri of Sestu, who arrived on the scene to restore calm and ensure traffic safety.

During the hectic phase of the intervention, one of the soldiers fell to the ground along with one of the people involved and suffered some injuries.

The carabiniere was transported to the emergency room of the "Brotzu" hospital in Cagliari, where paramedics diagnosed minor injuries with a prognosis of a few days.
