The modernization plan for the state road 131 "Carlo Felice" continues. In recent days, Anas completed the construction of an additional 5 kilometers of central traffic barriers between kilometer 33 and kilometer 38, within the municipality of Serrenti.

The project, worth a total of 5 million euros, involves the installation of a new, state-of-the-art concrete barrier, called NDBA (National Dynamic Barrier Anas), designed and patented by Anas itself.

1.20 metres high, the structure is designed to guarantee a high containment capacity in the event of an impact, even with heavy vehicles or in the presence of multiple close impacts .

The work is part of a broader program to upgrade the safety barriers along state highway 131. Along the southern stretch of the Carlo Felice alone, 10 kilometers of barriers have already been installed between km 14 and km 22, in addition to the 5 km recently completed in Serrenti.

The total investment underway in the area amounts to approximately 15 million euros, including construction work already underway between kilometers 38 and 42.

Anas also announced that an additional €5 million will be allocated to a future project to build new barriers on the stretch of the highway closest to Cagliari, completing the safety upgrades of the road axis.
