Tragic accident this evening shortly before 10pm on State Road 387: a 49-year-old motorcyclist from Quartu lost his life after crashing into the guardrail at the Serdiana roundabout.

The alarm was raised by several motorists, and emergency responders were quick to arrive: an Areus ambulance even arrived on the scene. But despite resuscitation efforts, there was nothing they could do for the motorcyclist.

Firefighters also worked on the Parteolla state road: the motorcycle caught fire after the impact.
