Thirty cameras have been installed in the streets, squares and city parks of Senorbì to prevent degradation and petty crime. The decision to speed up the time to make surveillance operational through the use of closed-circuit cameras was taken by the Executive and the City Council after the recent episodes of vandalism that affected the park of Santa Mariedda and the square of the parish church of Santa Barbara, in the good parlor of the village. The regulation for data processing and privacy protection was also approved.

The electronic eyes guarantee round-the-clock control in the points considered most at risk due to the threat of vandals and rude people: in particular in the square of the parish church of Santa Barbara, in the piazza Italia (near the elementary school) and in the piazza Padre Pio, on the outskirts towards Sant'Andrea Frius. Meanwhile, the project for the video surveillance of the Santa Mariedda park, often mistaken for a picnic area and therefore defaced by waste, is being studied.
