Mariano Pinna , the 87-year-old man under investigation for the death of Florea Florina , the 66-year-old woman of Romanian origins that the man was hosting in his home in Selargius, was questioned by the Carabinieri at the barracks and then released.

The woman's lifeless body was found last night around 8:00 PM in the courtyard of the building where the two lived on Via Logudoro. The 87-year-old man himself raised the alarm.

Registration in the register of suspects is currently a necessary step to allow the Carabinieri investigators and the prosecutor's office to carry out all their investigations . Mariano Pinna has appointed the lawyer Carlo Monaldi to defend him.

The Carabinieri of the Cagliari Provincial Command's Investigative Unit are working to reconstruct in detail what happened last night in the elderly man's home . No hypothesis has been ruled out at this time.

The initial reconstruction carried out by the Carabinieri hypothesizes that death was caused by a fall from the third floor: the woman would have slipped from a window with a very low opening.
