Sixty years of age, 40 in service in the Army. Giorgio Faedda , a two-star lieutenant, is retiring. After seven and a half years in command, he leaves the Selargius Carabinieri Station (which also includes Quartucciu ), to enjoy his retirement. A career that began in the peninsula with a ten-year stop in Rome before returning to Sardinia, in San Vito, Ballao, Villaputzu, Donori and finally Selargius where lieutenant Faedda ended his long career with the weapon.

A very long story: Selargius is certainly the most prestigious stage with many awards, beautiful anti-crime operations, with certainly positive results: “I have excellent memories of all the locations where I have been in my 40-year career : Selargius was certainly the most demanding location. I can say that I am leaving a town, to which Quartucciu also joins, which is growing rapidly, but is also more peaceful. I found myself very well, managing to put a stop to petty crime, thanks also to the prevention that characterized our work ".
