Sassari, woman blinded by the sun hits a pedestrian: the man is in serious condition

Run over while crossing the street in via Napoli, in Sassari.

The accident occurred this morning, when a 95-year-old elderly man was hit by a car, a Citroen C1 driven by a woman who, perhaps dazzled by the sun, did not see the man who was crossing the road at that moment, in proximity of the pedestrian crossing.

He was immediately rescued by the 118 health workers and was transported by red code ambulance to the Santissima Annunziata hospital, where he is hospitalized in serious condition.

The elder would not be in danger of life. Local police men also intervened for the necessary remarks.
