In Sassari, high school students learn the principles of criminal proceedings "in the field" . This is thanks to the "school project" of the Italian criminal chambers union in collaboration with the Ministry of Education which, for some time, has seen young people from certain classes and various institutions, including those from the province, attend court hearings.

But the presence of the teenagers at the Palace of Justice was preceded by meetings promoted by the lawyers of the Criminal Chamber of Sassari "Enzo Tortora" right inside the schools where the lawyers simulated the criminal trial and explained the constitutional principles underlying the trial. The students' participation was also high in the various sessions during which they were able to see the hearings of witnesses, the discussions and, in general, the mechanism that regulates the proceedings .
