Sassari, the argument followed by the gunshot: the injured man was implicated in an attempted murder.

Luca Silanos is the 38-year-old man who was shot this morning in Sassari in the forecourt of a used car dealership on Strada 23 in Predda Niedda.

Following a violent argument, he was shot in the femur and taken to the emergency room. His condition is not considered serious.

Silanos had been sent to trial for an attempted murder case that allegedly occurred on July 19, 2024, at the Duca Bar in Sassari.

On that occasion, according to the charges, the man, along with his brothers Alessio and Stefano Levanti, allegedly carried out a sort of punitive expedition against Ugo Poggi. Poggi was struck in the skull with a hammer.

The Carabinieri are investigating this morning's incident, as well as the one that occurred back then. The investigation is coordinated by Prosecutor Paolo Piras.
