In Sassari there are some rules, on the occasion of the Cavalcata Sarda on Sunday and related events, for the administration and sale of drinks, and also for the diffusion of music.

In detail, starting from 8am on May 12th and until 7am on the 13th it is prohibited in the area between Piazza D'Armi, via Asproni, viale Dante, via Alghero, viale Umberto, via Politeama, via Brigata Sassari, via Torre Tonda , via Tavolara and viale Mancini, the itinerant consumption of any drink in glass containers and cans; Furthermore, the administration and sale in public areas of any drink, even non-alcoholic, in cans and glass containers is prohibited.

The Municipality of Sassari adds that «those authorized to serve or sell food and drinks must use exclusively biocompostable glasses, straws, plates, cutlery and containers. Shopkeepers near the streets of the Cavalcata Sarda route are prohibited from holding small musical entertainment and any form of sound emission or diffusion during the parade of folk groups, as well as playing music and carrying out any form of sound emission or diffusion in the area. surrounding Piazza d'Italia, up to 100 meters from the same square, on the occasion of the musical evening on Saturday 11 May from 6pm to midnight, the parade of costumed groups on the morning of 12 May from 8am to 2pm and during the performance of the songs and dances that will be held on the evening of Sunday 12 May, again from 6pm to midnight".
