Sassari, house fire: disabled person saved

Disabled man saved from his burning house in via Annunzio Cervi in Sassari.

This afternoon the fire, the causes of which are still to be ascertained, hit an apartment on the top floor. Once the alarm was raised, the man, 58 years old, bedridden and not independent, was recovered by the firefighters and the local police.

The fire blew out windows and caused glass and shutters to fall on the ground floor. The 118 ambulance was on site and immediately transported the injured man to the Santissima Annunziata emergency room.
