The bust of Enrico Costa, stolen recently from the Monumental Cemetery of Sassari, has been recovered.
The patrol officers responded to a citizen's report and found him under the overpass on state road 127 bis in the direction of Sassari.
Yesterday, the alarm was raised over the disappearance of the bronze artefact from the tomb of the famous Sassari writer, journalist, and archivist.
