There is no water in the province of Sassari and politics is moving. The municipal councilor of Fratelli d'Italia in the capital of Turritano, Pietro Pedoni, intervenes with a question addressed to the mayor Giuseppe Mascia on the management of the water service. «There has been a continuous passing of the buck», stigmatizes the Melonian exponent, «between the Region, the land reclamation consortia and Enas regarding the management of the water supply service in our territory».
In the city and beyond, losses exceed 50% . "Therefore, an assumption of responsibility is necessary, so that the water system is put in a position to reduce dispersion in the distribution network to a minimum". Here is Pedoni's request to the mayor. "He should act as a spokesperson with the land reclamation consortia and the Region, so that maintenance work is carried out, using all available systems to recover the necessary resources. It should also be remembered that, in order of priority, water uses must be destined first for civil uses, then for agricultural ones and finally for industrial ones".
In the coming months, work will continue on the Coghinas line and a further period of restrictions is expected and for Pedoni on the issue «we are navigating by sight». Then he concludes: « The only alternative is the dance of the rain, but this continuous passing of the buck cannot fall on the heads of the citizens who, as happened in recent days, have found themselves once again with dry taps».
