Bad car accident tonight in Caniga , a village on the outskirts of Sassari .

A car overturned after hitting another in the consortium road of Maccia d'Agliastru, not far from the hamlet.

The firefighters, the local police and an ambulance of 118 arrived on the spot. The latter transported the driver to the emergency room to carry out checks and make x-rays to detect any fractures.

The dynamics of the accident have yet to be ascertained which, according to an initial reconstruction, would have seen one of the two cars ready to turn into an internal road while the other approached. Several times the residents of the area have complained about the condition of the road surface , often characterized by holes and precariousness, sometimes taking action themselves to repair it.
