Thousands of people follow the social profile of a man from Sassari with a peculiar vocation: creating props from famous films .

Elias Satta, in his laboratory “Le maschere di Naoto”, creates faces in Sassari that reproduce characters that have made the history of cinema, from Batman to his archenemy The Penguin, from Chucky the killer doll to Robocop to Gremlins.

"I started by making small prosthetics for carnival," says the 43-year-old, "and then it became a passion." Which over time ended up attracting fans from all, or almost all, continents.

"The only thing missing is Africa. They are also following me from China and Australia, going far beyond any initial expectations."

Among the most admired creations are John Hammond's cane from Jurassic Park and Tiger Man, who inspired the name of the business through his alter-ego Naoto. "With these I became, in quotes, famous."

Elias's work is driven by his love for the world of the seventh art, as evidenced by the movie posters that cover the walls. "My dream is to collaborate with the film industry for special effects and with an old-school production."

Meanwhile, he is expanding his range of works, which are increasingly realistic, such as the mask of Mister Freeze, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Batman & Robin”, built on the cast of the Austrian actor's face.
