Alfredo Cospito, detained in Bancali at 41 bis, will be able to receive two postcards . The Court of Cassation rejects the appeal of the Attorney General of the Court of Appeal of Sassari against the decision of the Supervisory Court which allowed the 56-year-old to receive two letters sent by an anonymous sender.

The general advocate, however, considered the request unfounded, believing, we read in the document, that "the postcards, in light of their content, did not highlight profiles of danger for internal and external security" .

Recently Cospito, defended by the lawyer Flavio Rossi Albertini and Maria Teresa Pintus, had been allowed to keep photos of his parents in his cell. Alfredo Cospito was sentenced to 9 years for the 2012 attack on the legs of the general director of Ansaldo Roberto Adinolfi and 23 years for the attack on the Carabinieri student school in Fossano in 2006. For this last crime, there had been a request for life imprisonment, for state massacre, by the Turin prosecutor's office but on 26 June 2023 the Court of Assizes of Appeal, following the ruling of the Cassation of two months earlier, ordered the 23 year sentence.

The anarchist from Abruzzo was also on hunger strike, in protest against the prison conditions of 41 bis, from 22 October 2022 to 19 April 2023.
