On Friday, the event “La Sardegna che cresce” was held at the Hotel Regina Margherita in Cagliari , an event promoted by the Centro Studi Aldo Moro, the Nelson Mandela association and the Giovani Democrati, which put the spotlight on the theme of sustainable development, innovation and generational change.

A rich and varied audience animated the debate, which saw mayors, administrators, representatives of the trade union, university and business world sitting at the same table. Among the speakers, that of the mayor of Iglesias Mauro Usai, the president of the Cagliari City Council Marco Benucci, the councilor for strategic planning of the capital Matteo Lecis Cocco Ortu, the general secretary of the Chamber of Labor Simona Fanzecco, and the city councilor of Iglesias Carlotta Scema.

Bringing the voice of the productive and youth world were Filippo Luigi Concas, president of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Confindustria Sardegna Meridionale and Maria Vittoria Pala, academic senator of the University of Cagliari.

The conclusions were entrusted to Tommaso Sasso, of the Cabinet of the Mayor of Rome, while the moderator was Federico Manca, member of the Board of Directors of Ersu and regional secretary of the Young Democrats.

"It was a great opportunity to listen to interesting ideas, discuss and above all network", declared the organizers. A message that aims to strengthen the bond between young people and institutions and to generate a collective movement with the aim of truly making Sardinia grow.
