Surprise, the beach has returned to Mari Pintau: white and very fine sand for a long stretch in this little corner of paradise on the Quartu coast. It is called “painted sea” for a reason: the colors, also thanks to the grains, are spectacular.

Another feature of the last few years was the presence of pebbles, on the ground and in the water: very characteristic, but uncomfortable for bathers without a sunbed.

Something has started to change since the winter just gone by: the first signs of a white tongue had already been glimpsed at the beginning of the year. But the force of the storm surges and currents has continued to "work" on the morphology of the coast. If last year there was an expansion of Capitana, in 2025 it was the turn of Mari Pintau. Of course, it is not as wide as Copacabana. On the contrary. But it is a start. And from 2026 access should become limited.
