The accident, which cost the life of the deputy mayor of Scano Montiferro, is still all to be clarified at the moment. But for the fatal crash for Antonio Pietro Ghiaccio, the Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation for road homicide, there are two suspects. And in the meantime the Carabinieri of Oristano are working tirelessly to try to identify the driver of a third car that may have hit the 54-year-old financier without stopping. In the meantime, the Prosecutor's Office has ordered the appointment of an expert, an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

According to the reconstruction, Piero Ghiaccio, riding his Harley Davidson, was returning from Putzu Idu towards State Road 292 when he suddenly realized he had run out of gas. While waiting for a friend to arrive to bring him fuel, he tried to move the bike. Then the very violent impact that left him no escape.

But the dynamics are currently quite complex to reconstruct : more in-depth investigations will be necessary, and the intervention of the RIS is not excluded to shed further light. In addition, the footage from the area's cameras is being acquired, and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
