Human remains probably from the Roman era have been found today on the beach of Su Pallosu, a seaside village in the municipality of San Vero Milis, known, among other things, for its cat colony.
The remains came to the surface following some landslides that occurred in the area, known as an ancient Roman settlement. The police intervened on site and cordoned off the affected stretch of coast to preserve it.
The military personnel therefore requested the intervention of experts from the regional Superintendence who will take care of collecting and analyzing the remains also to date them precisely.
