San Giovanni Suergiu, flames in a farmhouse: some premises destroyed

Fire during the night in a farmhouse in San Giovanni Suergiu.

The pizzeria premises, the furnishings and a pergola located outside the structure were destroyed.

The firefighters intervened around 11.50 pm with two emergency teams, two fire engines and a tanker.

It took three hours of work to put out the flames, preventing them from spreading involving the entire commercial activity and the surrounding vegetation, with the risk of spreading to other structures in the area.

The firefighters' intervention ended just before 3 am.

No one was involved, the investigations started to trace the origin of the fire, the carabinieri of the Radiomobile unit of the Carbonia Company Command also intervened on the spot.
