This afternoon the white Fiat Panda with which the bandits fled after carrying out an armed robbery in the villa of Giuseppe Vacca, a former baker from Lanusei, in Porto Frailis was found. The carabinieri of the Lanusei company, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, found it in the vegetation near the provincial road 27, in the Villagrande area, near the intersection for the state road 198 which leads to Ilbono.

The car was seized by the company's soldiers who will entrust it to colleagues from the Nuoro investigative department called to carry out biological and dactyloscopic analyses. The robbery dates back to Tuesday evening.

The bandits, with their faces covered, went into action on Tuesday evening in via Alisei, where Giuseppe Vacca lives with his wife, Laura Demurtas. They stole money and fled in the pensioner's Panda. The incident happened after 9 pm, when the gang broke into Vacca's property. The former baker was watering the plants in the garden and the bandits threatened him with a pistol, ordering him to accompany them inside to hand over the money he was keeping.
