The three masked bandits who attacked the gambling center on Via Cagliari in Sestu had guns, perhaps toy ones, and also a taser and cable ties. "Who knows what they had in mind, but we defended ourselves," says Roberta Matzuzzi, owner of the agency together with her husband Dino Deiana. The latter was wounded in the head and is still hospitalized. But the woman also suffered consequences in the fight with the robbers.

The latter – in the hectic moments of the assault – managed to withdraw about 1,800 euros, then were put to flight with a zirogna blow, the traditional whip made from dried bovine viscera. "A gift", explains Matzuzzi, while the carabinieri are continuing their investigations to track down those responsible.
