The Strategic Management of ASL 3 of Nuoro expresses its deepest condolences for the untimely and tragic passing of Dr. Riccardo Ferrarelli and offers reassurances to his patients.

The 38-year-old family doctor "had chosen to provide his services to our community," according to a statement from the health authority. The statement also clarifies that Dr. Ferrarelli was treating 1,000 patients, "not 1,800."

Regarding healthcare, the Local Health Authority (ASL) has announced that patients will not be left without care: the process for their admission to the primary care system has already been activated.
