HERE ARE THE NAMES OF ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE BAND
The orders , issued by the investigating judge at the Nuoro Court at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office (Prosecutor Ireno Satta) , are part of the same investigation that led to the arrest of seven people on November 4, 2025. Serafino Biancu of Orgosolo and Luigi Masia of Oschiri were arrested.
THE INVESTIGATION – The investigation began after the armed attack on March 13, 2025, on an armored van in the Torpè area , during which the criminals stole approximately €90,000. Since that incident, the Nuoro Police Headquarters' Flying Squad, with the support of the Central Operations Service and the Siniscola Police Station, has developed a comprehensive investigative effort that has allowed them to delineate the structure and responsibilities of the criminal group.
The investigations revealed the involvement of the suspects, originally from the provinces of Nuoro and Sassari, in several criminal incidents. These include the explosives attack on the ATM at the Oliena post office on August 15, 2025, and the robbery at the State Monopolies warehouse in Prato Sardo , where cigarettes worth approximately €300,000 were stolen. In the latter case, the robbers also scattered nails across the streets and planted fake bombs to hinder law enforcement intervention.
FOILED ASSAULT – The investigation also helped foil other criminal plots. Specifically, last August, the gang was planning an attack on an armored van along the 131 DCN highway, from Olbia to Cagliari. The timely preventative measures implemented by the State Police, which involved hijacking the vehicles, prevented the robbery from being carried out.
CAR THEFTS – During the investigations , numerous thefts of cars and vans in the provinces of Nuoro, Oristano and Sassari were also reconstructed , vehicles later used in the robberies.
The criminal proceedings are currently in the preliminary investigation phase: the responsibility of the suspects will be determined in the subsequent trial, during which further investigative and evidentiary developments may emerge.
