Medical tests are expected today on the body of Cinzia Pinna, the 33-year-old from Castelsardo killed by Emanuele Ragnedda .
The woman's body, wearing only a T-shirt, had been hidden inside the businessman's estate between Palau and Arzachena, near a tree, exposed to the elements and predation by wild animals. The conditions were such that it was impossible to identify her.
Among the tests planned is also a CT scan, to clarify whether – as stated by the confessed businessman – there was a fight between him and the victim before Ragnedda opened fire .
The 41-year-old claims to have been attacked by Cinzia Pinna inside the farmhouse on the Conca Entosa estate, but he denied having shot to avoid being hit: "I could have run away, but instead I took the gun and fired three shots."
Supporting the theory of a fight are some of the injuries sustained by the 41-year-old . A medical examiner, appointed by prosecutor Noemi Mancini, visited the man in prison. The examination took place in the last few hours, and the results are being kept strictly confidential. However, Ragnedda did indeed have two cuts on his arm and several cuts to his mouth, likely the result of using a long deli knife .
The investigative hypothesis is that Cinzia refused a sexual advance , leading to the fight that resulted in the 33-year-old's death. But Ragnedda denies this reconstruction.
Meanwhile, investigations are underway into possible accomplices who may have helped him cover up the traces of the crime, and these are crucial hours for the position of at least one man and two women .
Ragnedda was transferred from Nuchis prison to Bancali prison, where there is a section reserved for inmates requiring special surveillance . His lawyer, Luca Montella, had requested special protection measures for his client.
