"We live in constant danger, without lighting, crosswalks and at the mercy of motorists who run alongside our houses."

This is the protest raised by a group of residents of the Magnolia subdivision, in Cagliari, near via Mercalli.

The list of complaints is long: "There are no sidewalks and for hundreds of meters there are no pedestrian crossings, so we are forced to take our children to school by car", the inhabitants explain to the microphones of the Videolina news, who are also considering take legal action to resolve what they call in no uncertain terms: "An unsustainable situation".
