"Nothing has changed in the management of Màstros in Nugoro compared to previous years," said Pino Mercuri, Councilor for Production Policies, who intervened to dispel doubts and controversies that have arisen in recent days regarding the event's opening hours.

In an official press release, the municipal administration reminded attendees of the scheduled hours for this year's event: Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. These hours, it is specified, apply exclusively to events organized by the Municipality. There is no ban on serving food and beverages outside these hours. Operators may continue to serve food and beverages, in accordance with the regulations signed when applying, until 11:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

For commercial businesses, however, the midnight closing time remains in effect, as required by current legislation. "When managing an event like Màstros," Mayor Fenu and Councilor Mercuri emphasize, "before even discussing regulations, it's necessary to use common sense, striking a balance between the program of events and the neighborhood's legitimate request for quiet during the night."

"We are convinced," they continue, "that the times we've identified represent the right compromise to allow residents to rest peacefully and, at the same time, visitors to fully enjoy the rich cultural, food, and wine offerings the city will offer during the two days of celebration."
