The walk held in Sorso on Friday, January 16th was a resounding success. The town streets filled with color, voices, and smiles for the tenth edition of "Io Valgo," the event organized by the San Damiano Social Cooperative on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. More than 400 students, along with teachers, associations, and volunteers, walked together for inclusion, planting the "Io Valgo" tree, a symbol of a community growing together. Together, they enjoyed performances, music, and dance (thanks to the Il Sorriso Association for "Sa danza a stella"!). The Language Village was also piloted, allowing people to communicate through gestures, emotions, nature, and art. All the schools, institutions, associations, and everyone who made this special day possible participated. With their enthusiasm, the children remind us every day: "Chie semenat bene, mezus bodhit" – He who sows well, reaps better.
