Two nightmare years for a battered woman and a two-year sentence for her alleged attacker. Yesterday in court in Sassari , judge Sara Pelicci's decision against a 30-year-old from the hinterland who, according to the prosecution, had insulted, beaten and threatened his 26-year-old ex-partner with death between 2017 and 2018 .

In discussion is the prosecutor Antonio Piras who retraces the tormented relationship of the couple in which the young woman felt segregated by the man and where, as the public prosecutor underlines, the other "behaved like a master father".

" I'll burn all of you in your house ", this is one of the threats that the accused allegedly made to the woman and her family at the height of an increasingly strong climate of tension. The civil lawyer Fabiano Baldinu, who led the defense together with the lawyer Alberto Oggiano, also remembers another phrase uttered during a cohabitation in the countryside: " I'll feed you to the pigs ".

Then a final episode, in the house shared together in Sassari, when the man had broken a glass table and then, so the accusation claims, placed a piece of it on the neck of the 26-year-old who, according to Baldinu, was now reduced to great prostration.

Hence the complaint and trial for family abuse against the 30-year-old defended by the lawyer Marco Palmieri. The sentence also condemns him to pay 5 thousand euros in compensation and civil costs.
