For nearly a month, residents of Vico II Cirene, specifically numbers 12a and 12b, have been forced to endure the inconvenience caused by garbage dumped on the sidewalk in front of their building. This situation threatens to become a significant health and hygiene issue. Resident Rossana Neri explains it well: "The garbage, which also includes open bags containing diapers and rotting food scraps, emits foul odors and attracts stray cats, cockroaches, and mice; it's a public health risk." The culprits aren't far away: Neri claims they're some neighbors who don't respect recycling rules.
"However, even though I understand that garbage collectors aren't required to remove non-compliant garbage, for reasons of decorum and public hygiene, they should remove the bags that have been abandoned for almost a month. Or do we have to continue living with foul odors, cockroaches, and mice? The City must do something." Meanwhile, the residents have sent an email to the relevant municipal offices requesting immediate action.
