Quartu, water network repairs completed: water is back on.

Abbanoa emergency response teams have completed repairs to the pipeline on Via Corridoni in Quartu.

The Operator's technicians are now busy with the maneuvers to restart the supply throughout the town.

To carry out the work, water supply had to be interrupted: there was a fault in a primary steel pipe, 350 mm in diameter, which required welding without any water in the pipes. For this reason, the city's reservoir had to be closed. Water supply was maintained along the coast, which is supplied by a different aqueduct.
