Another young man showed up tonight at the police station in Quartu to clarify his position regarding the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy from Cagliari on Lungomare Poetto. Accompanied by his lawyer Benedetta Mauro, he then returned home. The Carabinieri are questioning several other young people with the aim of clarifying the incident.

The 16-year-old immediately indicated by the Carabinieri as the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing is currently under investigation. He is only accused of assault. The two injured people treated at dawn on Sunday in hospital for some superficial wounds were found not to be involved in the incident. The knife recovered on Sunday is not the one used to stab the 15-year-old.

It cannot be ruled out that it was in the possession of one of the many young people who, again at dawn on Sunday, were present on the Quartu coast when the fight broke out. The investigations conducted by Major Michele Cerri and Captain Ignazio Cabras, are continuing with the utmost discretion.
