After three days of searching, the hidden leak in the Quartu water network has not been found , and so Abbanoa has decided , unless there are changes in the next few hours, to interrupt the water supply tonight in order to identify the fault and proceed with the repair.
The interruption will affect the entire town center with the exception of the coast, the Pitz'e Serra area and the Sant'Anastasia hill which are served by another pipeline.
The communication came from the utility itself. "The checks carried out in recent days on the city water network to locate a hidden leak, which doesn't surface and is therefore difficult to detect, have not yet yielded any results." The investigation by Abbanoa technicians "has continued, but a nighttime shutoff of the water supply appears necessary, allowing technicians to carry out checks with equipment used when the pipes are free of water."
It is therefore advisable for residents to stock up on supplies in the next few hours.
