Yet another episode of cruelty occurred this morning: two puppies were abandoned at the 1Q bus stop in Flumini, on the Quartu coast. They were locked in a cage, under the morning sun, with no one near them, only the suffocating heat. They were saved from certain death by someone who was passing by and heard their desperate cry. The person who found them couldn't turn away and took them home to help them, but unfortunately he can't keep them.
Hence the appeal launched on social media: «We are urgently looking for a person who can adopt them, or even just a temporary foster home, while waiting for a permanent adoption».
Not only were the dogs abandoned, they were locked up in the sun without any way to escape to safety. And with the stifling heat of the morning, there was no doubt that they would die in a short time.
