House searches were also reportedly carried out at dawn, likely to search for evidence that could shed light on the packaging of the firecracker used to carry out the attack, which also caused damage to the entrance of the premises and to several cars parked nearby.

Police have been heavily mobilized, with the investigation coordinated by the city police station. Investigators have also summoned and questioned several people, and they are continuing to review footage from security cameras located near the targeted business, which, for reasons yet to be clarified, was targeted.

Last night, there was even talk of an arrest, a rumor promptly denied by the investigators themselves. The investigation is being closely monitored by the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office.
