Quartu, emptied cellars with the Apixedda and abandoned waste on the street

It had long since become a veritable illegal cellar-clearing operation, a "pixedda" that collected waste on demand and without the necessary permits.

The man—the owner of the blue vehicle with the mini-truck and the perpetrator of the environmental crime—was caught by the Quartu Local Police Environmental Surveillance Unit, who, after receiving a report, responded to Via della Musica where yet another dumping of waste had taken place, freshly dumped by the Apixedda.

This intervention closed the case and seized the cellar-emptying vehicle for confiscation. Furthermore, the man will also have to pay a €1,900 fine.
