There is also a huge villa with two swimming pools among the abuses discovered by the building surveillance team of the local police in the Quartu area.

In recent weeks, the authorities have issued another series of ordinances for entire houses built without authorization or for illegal extensions in the rural areas of Niu Crobu and Santu Lianu, as well as in the city center on Via Manno and Via Puccini.

While the city center is mostly home to illegal expansions, the countryside, as always, is home to newly built homes like those discovered in Via S'Ecca S'Arrideli.

In Niu Crobu, among other places, a storage room has been converted into a residential home, complete with a bedroom and bathroom, as well as a barbecue area in the garden. And in Santu Lianu, property developers have built a small villa of approximately 79 square meters, along with a series of abuses on the exterior.

All the ordinances provide for the demolition of the illegal buildings and the restoration of the site to its original state, as well as fines and, in the event of non-compliance, the acquisition of the illegal surfaces for municipal use.
