On Sunday 31 October and Monday 1 November, quality wines will be protagonists for the fifth edition of the "Cagliari International Wine & Food Festival". Important numbers accompanying the initiative, scheduled at the THotel with thirty participating companies, one hundred and twenty labels from all over Sardinia and beyond, four masterclasses and an internal competition to elect the best wine of the event.

"This initiative - commented Alessandro Sorgia, Councilor for Productive Activities and Tourism - does nothing but promote our territory in the best possible way. Events like this are very important for us also because, as shown by a study carried out by the University of Bergamo, 70% of Italian tourists choose half of the trip based on food and wine excellence. And we want to focus on this type of tourism because our city has many resources that visitors can appreciate. An initiative that is good for the city ".

"We had to downsize a bit but we stayed alive and managed to reach the fifth edition despite the pandemic. The important thing - explained Mario Bonamici of APS Promo Eventi - is that everything that is the culture of wine remains. The flower at the crown of this edition are the four in-depth masterclasses ".
