The 368th Feast of Sant'Efisio officially began on 25 April, with the chariot entering the small church of Stampace in Cagliari and the handover between the third Guardians. A celebration much loved by the people of Cagliari - who dissolved the vote for liberation from the plague in 1656 - but also by the many tourists who every year follow the procession on May 1st in presence through foreign TV channels accredited for the event of Sardinian colors and traditions .

Now the Saint's chariot and the church of Nora, on the coast of Pula where the Saint was martyred, have been reproduced in Lego bricks by the brickbuilder Maurizio Lampis, president of the Karalisbrick brick museum, which has just moved to Quartu Sant'Elena.

Alongside these two new works - which join the best-known ones in the Trevi Fountain and Piazza San Marco in Venice - there is also a mosaic with the effigy of Sant'Efisio.

It took 3 months to create all 3 dioramas dedicated to Sant'Efisio: 350 Lego bricks were used for the chariot, 4500 pieces for the mosaic and 12,000 pieces for the church of Nora. The three works will be exhibited in the former magistrate's court in Via Nora in Pula from 30 April to 4 May in a collective art exhibition.

«These are respectively my 20th, 21st and 22nd Sardinian monuments inspired by the beauties of the island», says Lampis, «After Gigi Riva I wanted to strike the hearts of Sardinians again with the representation of the religious festival par excellence in Sardinia , the one dedicated to Sant'Efisio. Gigi Riva and Sant'Efisio are two institutions on the island and representing them in Lego bricks was an immense satisfaction, almost symbolically wanting to embrace an entire population."
