Pula, a project to eliminate asbestos from middle schools

Green light from the Giunta to the project which aims to eliminate the asbestos present in the perimeter walls of a classroom and the gymnasium of the Benedetto Croce middle school .
To carry out the work, the Municipality obtained 154 thousand euros from the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of the territory, which will be added to the 215 thousand from the municipal coffers.
The project involves the dismantling of the walls that encapsulate the asbestos, and the subsequent reconstruction of the walls: the purchase of new fixtures in accordance with the law is also planned. The works will be carried out during the next summer , with the aim of not making the students miss a single day of school.
