Some news could arrive soon for the school in via Stockholma in Cagliari, declared unfit for use and whose students have the prospect of starting lessons inside a tent . The municipal administration proposes the use of the Italo Stagno school and the school bus service to guarantee educational continuity.

The General Directorate of Regional Civil Protection has sent the Municipality an official communication regarding the structural consolidation works planned for the primary school in via Stockholma and the inevitable need to interrupt teaching activities. Accompanied by a detailed report, the note specifies that it will take an approximate period of 6 working days to set up 10 temporary classrooms in the sports field adjacent to the school.

A possibility that had been considered as a response to an emergency situation, "as the planned works - specifies the Municipality - require the adoption of extraordinary measures to guarantee the safety of students and school staff during the execution of the works".

The Administration informed the head teacher who was offered the possibility of using the Italo Stagno school in via Is Mirrionis in front of the roundabout, at the intersection with via Campania and via Cadello, as a temporary alternative to host pupils and educational activities . Solution which also includes a school bus service for transfers to and from the school in via Stockholma, thus ensuring that students can continue to attend school on a regular basis.

«All these measures - adds the Municipality of Cagliari - were adopted with the aim of minimizing the impact of the structural consolidation works on the education of students and on the functioning of the school. School collegiate bodies will be able to carefully evaluate this situation and adopt the measures they deem most suitable to ensure that students receive a high-quality education, even during this period of temporary changes."
