Portovesme, workers' protests resume: "The situation is increasingly serious"

The mobilization in the Portoscuso industrial complex started again this morning . Hundreds of workers gathered at the entrance of the Portovesme Srl plant , where a meeting promoted by the trade unions is underway.

Tensions are sky-high. The situation has worsened in recent days. Several contracting companies have announced the dismissal procedure for numerous workers. They complain about the lack of orders.
In recent days, the unions have once again asked for the intervention of the government and the region to unblock the various disputes open in the industrial complex.

"We need strong and decisive action from the institutions," the union representatives reiterated, "too much time has been wasted and the situation is very serious. The mobilization continues. No one is willing to waste time anymore."
