Porto Torres, degradation on the waterfront: shopping trolleys and waste bags

Waste and degradation on the Lungomare Balai in Porto Torres . An old shopping trolley recovered at the bottom of the sea, rusty and covered in algae, was abandoned on the sidewalks near the Acque Dolci viewpoint, where work is underway to renovate the route. A little further back, on the boundary wall of the area, some have seen fit to unload garbage bags, plastic bottles, cans and other waste .

Also in full view is a paper basket, torn up and temporarily placed there waiting to finish the construction site before being repositioned. In front of a wonderful panorama disfigured by the presence of waste that accumulates day by day , in one of the suggestive places of the Turritan coast, a few meters from the splendid beach of Balai.

Effects of an incivility that shows itself shamelessly every day, but also of carelessness that often becomes an alibi to further soil a degraded area. The reckless gestures continue and are recorded in every area of the city: it is difficult to identify those responsible when one does not intervene firmly and with adequate tools to flush out the usual dirty people.
