Car-motorcycle collision on Viale delle Vigne, one of the central arteries of Porto Torres with a high flow of traffic. A 51-year-old man, on a scooter, was thrown to the ground following the impact with a car. The accident occurred this morning shortly after 8, when the 51-year-old was on his way to work. According to initial reconstructions, the motorcycle was proceeding on Viale delle Vigne towards Via Ettore Sacchi when a Fiat 500, which was travelling along the road in the same direction, turned left, cutting off the scooter.

Due to the collision, the driver was thrown from the scooter seat, ending up on the roadway . Immediate help was provided by some motorists who were passing on the street at that moment. An ambulance from 118 arrived on the scene and picked up the injured man, who was transported to the emergency room of the Santissima Annunziata for checks.

The Carabinieri of the Porto Torres company intervened to carry out the surveys and reconstruct the dynamics. Viale delle Vigne represents one of the arteries where the highest number of accidents are recorded .
