Porto Torres: A cornice falls onto the sidewalk, narrowly missing Councilor Ledda and her young son.

The worst came to light late this afternoon in the Villaggio Satellite neighborhood of Porto Torres. A large piece of cornice suddenly broke off from a building on Via Emilia, landing on the sidewalk where Environment Councilor Massimiliano Ledda was walking with his two-year-old son. The large stone grazed the city council member, who immediately alerted 115.
