A portion of the proceeds from the Porto Conte Park should be used to compensate farms severely damaged by wildlife. The residents of the villages ask for it. But not only. They also push for a plan for the eradication of wild boars, then for an insurance that would serve to reimburse the residents for any damage and for a sturdy fence on the edge of the Park.

The committees of the township of Alghero are exasperated by the invasion of wildlife .

"If it is beautiful and paid for tourists to visit the Porto Conte Park to admire fallow deer and wild boars, the agricultural entrepreneurs and not only in the area, forced to spend large sums to prepare high and sophisticated fences that require daily maintenance ", write Tonina Desogos (Maristella), Antonio Zidda (Sa Segada-Tanca Farrà), Amabile Simbula (Santa Maria La Palma), Angelo Sanna (Guardia Grande - Korea), Luca Rondoni (Fertilia - Arenosu ). "It seems right - concludes the note - that a portion of the Park's revenues should therefore go to re-protect and compensate those who suffer damage".
