Poetto, the blue lines are back: paid parking starts today.

The last weekend of free parking on the Quartu stretch of Poetto has ended.

Starting today, you'll have to pay to park your car in the blue-lined parking spaces by the sea. This will continue until September 30th, every day.

The rates remain unchanged: no increases and lower rates than those applied in Cagliari : 3 euros for a half day and 5 euros for a full day, or 1 euro per hour.

And to try to address the lack of parking spaces in Poetto, which is still a construction site for the new promenade, the municipality is opening a dirt road in front of the Lido Mediterraneo, which will accommodate around a hundred cars.
