Pirri, a thief caught on camera forced to flee by the arrival of security guards

A burglary was foiled last night thanks to the intervention of security guards at the Corda Argiolas winery in Pirri, Cagliari.

It was just before 3:30 a.m. when the Sicurtecnica security cameras detected suspicious activity: the images revealed the presence of a man, with his face uncovered, who was wandering around the square after having climbed over the perimeter wall.

A patrol car was immediately dispatched to the scene, while the Carabinieri were simultaneously alerted. The response was immediate, and the thief, realizing he had been discovered, had no choice but to flee.

The subsequent inspection confirmed that the incident was concluded without any damage or attempted break-ins.
