Pests, dirt and zero permits for restaurants: Pula, a hotel seized

Major seizure by the Carabinieri of the NAS of Cagliari in a reception facility based in Pula.

During an inspection, the military of the Anti-adulteration and Health Unit and the personnel of the Hygiene Service of the ASL found serious hygiene-health deficiencies, including the presence of pests, the failure to adopt self-control procedures relating to the ordinary and extraordinary cleaning of the premises, structural deficiencies and the absence of the administrative authorizations necessary for carrying out the catering activity.

For this reason, at the end of the inspection, a precautionary measure was issued to protect public health, which led to the administrative seizure of the premises, equipment and stored and prepared food.

The total value of the seizure was estimated at around 200 thousand euros.
